Tell us a bit about yourself--a brief bio

I grew up in a home where education was revered and we were expected to excel in and out of the classroom. When I graduated from the University of Florida I started a life-long relationship with education. From teaching in public schools to homeschooling my children and then to teaching in a Christian school for the last 20+ years I have witnessed several changes in the education of children. The shift in private education to a classical model in many ways is a shift back to the education model of my youth. I am now in my last year of working at Covenant and am looking forward to "retirement" and where the Lord uses me in this next phase of life.
