As you approach your summer reading list, please share any titles that stand out.
Two that were recently recommended to me: Reordered Love, Reordered Lives by David Naugle (glowing endorsements by James K.A. Smith and Chuck Colson) and Wisdom and Curriculum: Christian Schooling after Postmodernity by Doug Blomberg.
Also, if you haven't noted it already, consider joining other members of Classical Educator in a summer book read. Katrina Combs will be facilitating a discussion of Plato's Republic. Follow the link below for more information.
I have read Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine every summer for the past five years and it has been a most pleasant experience. I also have a stack of Great Books to re-read including Virgil's Georgics which I've never read before.
I am looking forward to reading and discussing Plato's Republic, but have just completed reading The Rage Against God by Peter Hitchens, and wonder if we might add it to the possibilities.
